I'm a small-town girl from the shores of Northern Lake Michigan’s doorstep. But in 2009, I traded the sound of crashing waves for the majestic views of Colorado Springs. Life started at UCCS as a nursing major because helping people was always the goal. Fast forward to family life, and my husband and I decided the stay-at-home mom gig was the most rewarding path for us.
